Firm founder Dan Gerash is the son of a well-known Denver defense attorney Walter Gerash. With his wife, Karen Gerash, an experienced appellate attorney, family law and criminal defense attorney E. Richard (Rick) Toray, and a staff of skilled legal professionals, we offer effective trial services for clients throughout Colorado in civil and criminal court. Our affiliated law office in Glenwood Springs is staffed by Of Counsel attorney Walter Brown III. He brings over 32 years of experience to casework in Aspen and the Roaring Fork valley.

Medical experience

Our Colorado personal injury attorneys provide highly skilled representation for victims of serious injury and medical malpractice. We work closely with Of Counsel attorney, Eric Steiner, who is also a medical doctor. Dr. Eric Steiner brings 18 years of medical practice to his legal work on behalf of seriously injured accident and malpractice victims.

Criminal law experience

All of the attorneys at our firm have worked as public defenders in Colorado. We also work with veteran criminal defense attorney Walter L. Gerash who assists our office as an Of Counsel attorney. We offer defendants an effective criminal defense team in state and federal court.

Appeals

Our Denver law office provides effective appellate representation in civil and criminal court. Appellate attorney Karen Gerash worked for three years in the Colorado Court of Appeals and 10 years with the appellate division of the Colorado State Public Defenders Office before going into private practice.  Ms. Gerash has won appeals in the Colorado Supreme Court and the Court of Appeals. In addition, Mr. Toray has appellate experience, including arguing cases before the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals.
